Ok for the money
No directions are included. Thank goodness for YouTube. I don't expect professional grade tools at the price this tool cost and it got the job done I needed it for. However, I have made a few modifications to the tool for my next use. If you need it for a few uses, you may be fine. If you are going to use a chain tool with regularity, spend $170 more and go with a professional grade tool.
