Not the same as original but works...
I bought this to replace my original one from some 24 years ago as it turned up missing. When I got it I was straight-up disappointed as it is different than the original (slightly shorter and with a slightly different angle). I was mortified that the bar I had grown accustom to for 24 years was gone - this certainly added to my sense of disappointment. Lucky for me the original tuned up! However I now have a spare and will probably be using it to get used to it, so that I can keep the original from moving around so much. It feels similar to the one on my Koa Strat in terms of size and angle so it's not like a completely different animal. In the end it works and I'm glad they are still making them...

Does NOT Shave As Close As A Blade
Hearing about this product from an associate, and reading some online reviews, I was led to believe that it would shave as close as a blade. Turns out that it doesn't - even says so on the packaging (which I failed to see before purchasing): "shaves close, but not *too* close..." However with all that being said, if you want a quick, easy, and inexpensive beard trimmer, or a shave that's "not too close," this might work well for you...

This shaving balm is the bomb!
This balm smells great and feels oh so good on my freshly shaven face. It's not "cheap" but falls into the category of "you get what you pay for" - a quality product that works great and smells fabulous!
