A near-classic.
Really clever, with a great twist at the end. Great performances from a top-notch cast. This is Nicole Kidman as you've never seen her. You'll be shocked and mesmerised.

A terrific buy.
The Norse myths never fail,and here they are retold in a vivid, colloquial style that makes them even more accessible and compelling. Perfectly complementing the text are the superb,highly original illustrations. The magnificent front cover is almost worth the price of this book on its own!

Awful-don't take this ride.
Undoubtedly the worst film ever made. The worst acting, writing, direction ever. In large stretches the sound wasn't even in sync-wouldn't have helped much if it had been. If I was allowed, it would be no stars for this.
