"The Beast"
1 of 1 found this helpful Well worth the money. I use this for both lumber and concrete. I use a 10" diamond turbo blade on brick and concrete and the blade shown for wood. Once you get use to the heavier weight you learn to use that to your advantage when you want good control and a really smooth cut. The lever for controlling the depth of cut is one of the best I've used. It's true you can slice through a 4"x6" in one cut.

Ya get what ya pay for.
I paid 380 with free shipping. Grizzly just raised the price on this to $595.00 A Bison chuck in steel will run you about $1,400. The expensive ones will clamp down to 0.183". This one clamps down to 0.590". With the chuck trued up dead nuts at the jaw tips a turned bar wobbles 0.080" at 24" out. Since I have to re-bore mine anyway with a tool post grinder I'm welding up the jaw tips first to achieve the 3/16" minimum stock (just like the high priced spread) first. Set aside an additional $200 on this. Set-rite back plates are pricey.

Power Generator Transfer Switch Interlock.
Perfect fit. Easy install. More durable than the fiberglass ones.
