Makes you forget that getting through the pelvis and sternum used to be a chore.
I've hunted for 39 years and my advice is this: Buy this tool and never look back. I now give them out to hunting friends as Christmas gifts. That's because, once they see how quickly and neatly they get the job done, they all want one. One of the things that is ALWAYS checked on as being in my pack before I head out.

The right tool for the job.
1 of 1 found this helpful I own five rifles - all used for hunting in the Northwest. I've used this tool to set their triggers to the same pull weight - 3.5 pounds. I was never certain of the readings from the spring pull gauges, but have had total confidence in this gauge's readings. It's a great addition to my tool chest.

Exactly what's needed

I've bought Leupold scopes for my rifles for years because they're tough, reliable and, most of all, because they work for me. I don't do long range shooting and also because, over the past 40 years of hunting, every shot I've taken has been inside of 300 yards. The VX-3i is exactly what I need. Clear glass. No worries about fogging. Will take a beating and hold zero. Fast, reliable adjustments that hold. Nicely balanced. Does not look like I mounted a searchlight on my rifle. Priced precisely where it should be with a warranty that is second to none. I now own three VX-3's and the deer in our area know it!
