no spring assisted trunk popper needed
The trunk lid on my Corvette wouldn't lift high enough to get my fingers under the lid to lift it, I spend a bunch of time installing a spring loaded popper. Save your time and money just replace your gas lift supports, and trunk lid lifts properly, (allows you the space to put your fingers under the lid) so the struts can push it to full open.
