captive parts cost a lot
Way,way too expensive for a tiny piece of plastic, it came apart in shipping, so I guess it wasn't glued very well at the factory. I only recommend it because you can't buy one anywhere else or use anything else as a substitute. They make it hard to figure out what lens fits what housing too. Next time I will replace the entire fixture, which won't cost much more than this lens.

it is good
If you have the Makita 9.6 volt battery and charger already this is a great accessory. I like it much better than the De Walt flashlights I have. The light is brighter, adjustable head angle is great for working by yourself, much lighter than other types like 18 volt, lasts longer too (I think) between charges, cylinder shape fits in a lot of places easier than the bigger lights. I have one that the included bulb lasted almost twenty years of casual use (until I dropped it on a hard floor) but the spare bulb under the lens, worked when I switched it in. This is one of the best shop or home rechargeable flashlights ever made (my opinion). One draw back is it isn't waterproof, the other is it needs a recharge sooner than an equal alkaline type flashlight burn time lasts. I now own 3 of them, they are really good.

I really like the quality and ease of using the DeSantis Swift Strips.
I have found these hold up longer than others I have used and they keep a tight grip on the cartridges. I can load up my revolver without watching, just by feel and the DeSantis Strips hold the cases and don't fall out. I have tried the half moon clips, the speed loaders, both were very awkward and a couple other speed strips, which I almost always dropped a round or two while practicing load by feel, since those strips the rounds come out too easily. When at the range it is nice and easy to set up for a target shoot for 5 or 10 or 15 or 20 round competition shoot at my club. Be safe and Good luck.
