Great album Poor remastering

I Love this album and have taken ages to get round to buying it on CD. I expected a 2014 remaster to sound close to the vinyl because remastering technology has improved hugely in the past decade. Sadly this is a very flat and unimpressive result. The top end is distorted, the bass is neither fat nor warm, and there is no space or feeling of separation around the instruments. My very scratchy vinyl is way way better 😞
