POOR QUALITY

I purchased this bubble gun for my daughter's 5th birthday. The gun made bubbles for about one hour and 1/2 the first bottle of liquid. The batteries lasted slightly longer. I replaced the batteries with name brand quality batteries hoping low power was the problem. No success. The lights, sound and air extraction still work but no bubbles ( pump problem?).
