A bit large but works great throughout no dead spots!
3 of 3 found this helpful This is a great router. I upgraded from a Netgear 600. I have fiber optic internet connection with 100Mbps up and download speeds. Using my old router I was getting speeds around 95. After several test I am now averaging speeds of 115 up and download speeds. Another issue I was having with old router was signal strength and speed upstairs. I now have a very strong 5ghz and 2ghz connection upstairs with speeds still in the mid 90mpbs as before could only get in the mid 60mpbs.
The router was easy to set up using the instructions. I took a picture of bottom of router so I would have the information for login. From time I plugged in the router I had my laptop set up, new passwords and renamed the access points. This was one of the easiest installs I have ever done. After 2 weeks of use I have had no issues or connection problems. All test were done using no AC wifi cards through speedtest net.
Unit comes with a reset switch, one gigabit WAN port, four gigabit LAN ports, one USB 2.0 port, one USB 3.0 port and an On/Off switch. The package contents also includes an Ethernet cable, the router's 12V/5A external power supply. The instruction manual was easy to follow.
Pros:
Extremely quick speeds
Easy to install
Great range even through walls and upstairs
Has 6 antennas to promote range and speed
3 channels of use 2 5ghz and one 2ghz
Cons:
The unit is a little large as sits flat
