You can't go wrong with this series! BUY THEM!!
One small tidbit: Spend the money and buy the full size versions, you will not be disappointed! I did buy the pocket-sized 2nd cousin version first.. Yeah, like a buck fifty (cool), traveled across the world for a month to the USA from China (wait...) and, well, it was worth a whole dollar fifty (free shipping, thank goodness)..The art work was there but the paper was newspaper, even colored pencils bled thru (not really, I didn't try but you get the jist). At any rate, it did pique my curiosity and there I was, 6 months later, with a little more cash. WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG???? These ones are amazing! The paper is close to card stock, they are paperback but do have dust jackets and the coloring pages are each worth the time to make your kind of perfect. Seriously. Buy all of them, I haven't ordered the Christmas one yet but it's next along with all the artist editions. The books even had me ordering better pens! Only gripe is the lack of perforated pages, I hate using a blade to cut the pages out. So! Order this! Might wanna get those better pens/pencils and some laminating sheets too 😉

Sometimes a known brand name is worth it!
These pens are hard to equal..compared to the generic branded gel pens, these hands down take the cake! They always write/color smoothly without skipping or leaving bare spots, never needs a second coating and, this may sound insignificant, but the lids stay ON, whether on the end or covering the tip, you don't have to worry about dry pens that lost their lids sitting in a drawer or wherever, haha! Really though, it makes a difference once you've experienced the pens of much lesser quality. The only brand I can compare that comes pretty close would be the Sargent Art pens but if I were to grade the 2, Fiskars earn A - A+, with Sargent taking home a B average. While that's not much difference, those who use these types of instruments often, will have no problem admitting that the Fiskars brand successfully intercepts the ball to win the game.
