Backup Fillet Knife at Best
This is a really inexpensive stainless steel fillet knife. Unfortunately, the blade on this knife will not take a sharp edge even after sharpening. The knife does in fact float but only if it is not in the knife sheath. Dull fillet knifes are dangerous and this one certainly falls in that category. If you need a good fillet knife you might look to spend a little more money on one of higher quality with a harder surgical stainless steel blade. At best, this fillet knife has been relegated to my backup knife only to be used when I can't find or lose my good one.
