Pocket size

Nice clear optics all I need for hunting ,cut down on weight & bulky size. Fit in my top pocket for easy access when bush hunting. Great for looking threw trees when that black log turns out to be a big boar laying down or that movement is the ear of a stag twitching .

Unparelled technology in GPS , very good value for money .

I brought it for navigating our sub tropical forest while hunting & because it looked like a good deal.Owned a Explorist 300 before this & that was great but limited with out topo maps this unit has. The touch screen make for easy & quick nav; ,with back light even in the dark .Can get a positional fix inside my house so the thickest of forest ain't a problem either. 1 thing I really like is the hunting /fishing calender .Works as both bite times for fishing & also when game is going to be not only around but seem to be quite stupid to almost suicidal.Seems to applicable to wild fowl & them with cloven hooves. I've used Garmin GPS that cost 3x as much that don't even come close to the quality of the 610 or the functionality of it.The Magellan610 with the map's package was very good value for money.
