Ragged Irregulars

This book gives you an inside look into the early days of WW2 and the progression and learning to not only survive but have successful daylight missions bombing. Popular names like Clark Gabel and famos planes like the Memphis Bell. A must read for the person who wants to get some knowledge.

FUBAR

Not bad, but not the most complete. For instance, (the whole nine yards). Very common saying originating from WW11. Not in the Book. Definition, the armor belts in the wing of a fighter plane was about nine yards long, hence give em the whole nine yards.

If your into the Eagle squadron or would like to know what it is this book gives you a great first hand view of the feeling and the emotions of the times in those early days of WW2. Also a human view of two icons of the day then and now.
