Attractive and effective at a good price
These are attractive and well-made tuners. They turn smoothly and feel firm, with little play in the gears. I used them on an old lap dulcimer with a violin-style pegbox and was quite satisfied with the result. I expect they would be a reasonable substitute on a slotted-head guitar for more expensive American-made tuners of similar design. 1/16 means 16:1 gear ratio.

Excellent replacement for same type
Was a perfect replacement for one that broke—virtually identical. Dropped in with no need to alter bridge (measure for correct length). Strong, balanced output. Plugged into onboard pre-amp. Very pleased.

Had to superglue a couple of the neck supports. Otherwise, no problems. Easy to assemble. Compact and gives good, secure support. Great for the price.
