poor product performance

Golf Watch. However, it won't operate and find the golf course I have been playing on. Was able to get "operating instructions" from the Bushnell computer site. I saw a message once saying "corrupt file". In the Bushnell information I printed out there was not reference to or how to remediate the problem. I'm more interested in how to return the watch and possiblely purchase a different one.
