An insightful book, great read, good guide.
I got this book because I am doing a presentation on Old Testament women, and how God guided their lives, and how He still guides our lives today. The author does an excellent job explaining the background history, and is very sound in true biblical doctrine teaching. I appreciated the insights and the fact that he doesn't go off on strange tangents, but uses scripture to interpret scripture... just how it is supposed to be done. He does such a good job of pointing out how special God's creation of women is, and how beautifully designed the rolls are women are, without stereotypes and negativity. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to more fully understand the experiences of those whose lives are described in the bible. The situations are just as applicable today as they were 2,3 and 4 thousand years ago.

My Middle Schoolers, who love history, saw this book before class started and didn't want to put it down. It will be a good resource for next year's project work.
