I have tried 4 different newer and older vehicles to use the scanner and each and every one of them responds with communication failures, no scan readings, typical electronics I dont think so. I have tried but not recieved any response from the seller, may just be bad luck, it was $300 so I may need invest some into unplanned cable repairs, as unit cable sheathing was taped split and torn B4 shipping
