Audio extractor
This product works very well if you have a Hdmi device to a dvi device and you need audio. DVI devices do not carry an audio signal so this device allowed me to hook up a standard hdmi DVD player to the device with and hdmi cable, then I plugged a hdmi to dvi cable to my projector. Then I plugged a rca audio to 3.5 mm cable from the device to my projector. I could then control the volume with my projector remote. It was very quick and simple, but the only problem was having to switch from DVD player to firestick. There is only 1 hdmi input. So be prepared to plug and unplug whenever you want to use either player. It’s worth the money if you get one that works. I plan on buying a 3 hdmi input to 1 hdmi output switcher at some point so I won’t have to keep unplugging and switching the input devices. Good luck.
