Light and quiet.
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a good generator for the price but isn't without flaws
It's easy to put to much oil in it! TIP, Add small amounts of oil then screw the oil fill cap "dip stick" all the way back in to check the oil level. Repete untill oil level is at the full mark on the dip stick. Don't use the method in the instructions.
Also when changing the oil. With the side panel removed. Unscrew the drain plug accessed through a port in plastic panel located under the oil fill cap. Tipping it sidways and draining the oil out the oil fill cap hole can cause oil to get up inside areas of the engine and it comes out the carburetor into the air cleaner when re-started and makes a real mess outa things.
Another negative thing. Be carful filling with fuel. If you overfill and spill fuel? It runs right down the control side of the generator and over the electrical outlet!!!
Pluses. It seem to run and operate good. Is pretty quite. Was a bit hard to start initially but is better after break-in. Reacts to load change really quickly. Overall, I think it's not a bad little generator.
