Covers the top and bottom of plate numbers/letters
This a nice frame for the money but the cut-out is far too small for a California license plate. Nearly 1/4" on the top and the bottom of the plate numbers/letters are covered. I had to use a small grinder to remove the excess plastic. This took about 20 minutes and a steady hand. I would've spent more to get the proper fit.
