Power supply fried
I knew this was a cheap one but I didn't expect the power supply to burn up. Fortunately I was present when it decided to cook, who knows what would have happened if I wasn't around. I didn't really need the power supply anyway, so both of them went in the garbage (I bought 2 of these). As for the rest, it's OK. The power output cabling is a little shoddy. The housing on the power supply is low grade plastic. If all you need is the USB to SATA/PATA/IDE this will be fine. I would like to give it 3 stars, it's not really unacceptable, but it's not entirely OK either. The power supply and power output cable are terrible, the rest is OK. I had to split the difference between 1 and 3 stars.
