Great tool to have
There are a lot of very expensive knife sharpening systems out there but this one in my opinion is a must have. The lansky is not expensive and it gets the job done. It really helps you profile the edge to a consistent angle. The black Arkansas stone is as fine as a stone gets and will make a razor sharp edge after leather strapping. If you don't have one in your kit then you ought to pick one up today on ebay.
