electronic compartment cooling.
The thermostat arrived in a bubble lined mailing envelope. upon opening, it was found packed in a small ziplock bag. The contents were in good condition but there weren’t any operating instructions. I had to scour ebay for a like thermostat were the description had instructions listed. Due to the wording, it still took 30...mins to figure out how to set it up for my purpose. Once set, I placed in it an acrylic enclosure to help keep it from dirt and debris. Using just Velcro to mount it, I placed it in the rear compartment of my RV where my inverter / solar charger and other electronics are located. The compartment already had cooling fans but the original thermostat was not accurate and they ran for hours on end unnecessarily. Now the fans are set to the go on at 100 F and go off at 98 F. The thermostat is quite accurate and highly recommended for such applications.
