    I’m sure the item sent me was as described. Unfortunately, when it arrived it was in terrible shape. Glass broken, brass dented and scratched, and movement covered in glass shards.For this transaction to have turned out more perfectly, a better packaging effort by the seller was all that was required.In the end, I was refunded by e-bay.Thank-you e-bay!I’m sure the seller had good intentions, but glass needs special handling, and careful packaging.

    Regrettably, the item, a non-working clock sold for parts, was damaged to the point of being unusable during shipping. Duly noted. The buyer sent me photos of the shipping related items as requested.After becoming aware of the issue, I suggested the buyer start a return through eBay as that is the proper channel and I provided a full refund including shipping charges the following morning.

The item appears to be a direct replacement. Even the country of manufacture is the same as my original bearing from 35 years ago.

The product was fine and worked as intended.
I gave the item a 3-star rating. It is fine and worked as intended as the title of this review states. eBay says a 4-star rating means it is "better than expected". eBay says a 3-star rating means "it's ok". Though it met my expectations, I would not say it was "better than expected". It is just as expected.
