I can only recommend this if the primary use is as a walker. As a chair to be pushed with the passenger's back to the assistant, it is not effective.
4 of 4 found this helpful When reversed as a "chair", the passenger's weight is turned toward the weakest part of the vehicle...the 2 wheels which turn and are set closer to the body of the chair. If the person pushing the chair approaches a bump such as carpet edging or other uneven surface, the 2 wheels which turn will immediately flip sideways and the whole chair falls forward throwing the passenger from the chair onto the floor. Also, the break controls which are in the long handles will not lock without somebody physically squeezing the breaks. This makes it difficult for the passenger to be as self sufficient as possible because if they need to turn around and sit for a break, the walker will simply not stay in place, and will roll away or spin around making it not very safe. This makes it necessary for theater passenger to always be with an assistant. This item is best as a walker with safety difficulties. But as a chair to be pushed, the passenger is safer if facing the driver and not using a foot rest...a bit uncomfortable to hold the feet up, but for very short distances it would work. SORRY!

Invest your money in a better quality. This one does not come with the T-adapter. Nor does it come with any instructions. Unless you are a buyer with considerable plumbing knowledge, this will be frustrating. The T-adapter is necessary for this thing to work. Better to buy a more expensive one that includes everything, or be prepared to shop around to find the adapter. A waste of time, waste of money, and an inferior quality.

For the price, can't beat it.
Sorry it does not come with casters, but otherwise it is a great bargain.
