Tap problems.
To start with tap delivered to Buckleaze Farm and not Buckleaze Mill, tracked it down and fitted it to the kitchen sink. Within a few hours found the external overflow from the roof tank pouring out, turned off ball valve but tank still filling. Then decided it must be from new tap, checked all pipes but in the end found cold water coming out of hot tap side when hot valve turned off and hot tap turned on, realised cold leaking within tap to hot side. Removed tap and put old dripping one back in and no problems with overflow. The pressure of the cold water must have forced water up the hot pipe through the cylinder and up the feed pipe from the roof tank.
