Not as good as an original but 10X cheaper

Seems to crimp Molex style pins reasonably well. Since a real Molex crimper is several hundred dollars, I guess this is a pretty good deal !

Better then a Moto RIB ?

This programming cable works in a set-up where a original RIB would not (because of that clock-speed thing ??). 2.4 GHz Pentium 4, DOS 6.22 & Maxtrac RSS R05.30.00 I have 3 Maxtracs that are again usable.

Now everybody can have a reliable reference source for not too much money !

Works fine out of the box. The GPS receiver used seems very sensitive and the unit locked up within 4 minutes of cold turn-on. There are MANY different versions of this GPSDO, so do your homework on-line. It IS a bare-bones unit, but for the price, if you need a reference source, it can't be beat. Even a Leo Bodnar costs a lot more !
