Gorgeous and a real challenge
The pattern is gorgeous, and HUGE. I anticipate many hours of happy stitching.
HOWEVER. This is NOT a kit for beginners. It is overly complicated (nearly 150 different shades of floss, many that are nearly indistinguishable) and I am very disappointed that the kit does not include the DMC numbers for the floss used. I understand that the designer doesn't want to make it easy for people to reproduce her design without paying for her work, but the kit only had enough floss to work it with 1 strand of floss on 16 count Aida (provided) As I prefer working on 28 count jobelan with two strands it requires more floss so it was quite the headache to match the floss colors and symbols Doable (with a DMC master swatch booklet) but a real hassle. If you are willing to work it as provided (and don't make many mistakes that require extra floss) it's a wonderful project.
