Good value; don’t trust the lock; add reflectors
Solid, quality rack at an affordable price, but doesn’t seem as secure as other racks. I don’t trust the hook over the frame designed the way it is...steeper top tubes can slide under it if the bike moves laterally at all. Two modifications I would highly recommend:
1. Use an additional cable lock! Pretty confident if I wanted to steal a bike off this rack, I would successfully deflate the tires and rear shock to slip the frame under the j-hook. Too easy!
2. Add reflective tape to the rack for other cars to see. I got rear-ended at a red light the day after I installed it because the car behind me was too close to see the rack sticking out and forgot it was there. Stupid on their part, but it is difficult to see with no bike on it.
