Top quality knife at a great price!

Great item, but needed tweaking!
The item arrived, the box it came in was pretty beat up, torn and re-taped by UPS. Emblem was packaged in a blister pack, no damage noted.
The fit of the emblem and the instructions where problematic.
Instructions where for several other vehicles and emblems, attempting to figure out which one was for the emblem purchased, took a while.
After following the removal instruction (would have been great, if mentioning in instructions how deep to drill, in order to remove emblem and not generalize!), cleaning of the double sided tape and so on, found that the emblem did not fit properly and one side was sticking out almost 3/16th of an inch. It appears, whoever is running the press to shape the emblem, was not paying attention. Quality control missed that as well! Had to fall back on my welder / fabricator background. Removed emblem again (pain in the a**), stripped double sided tape off and cleaned everything again.
Placed emblem in to a padded vice and took a ball peen hammer wrapped in a welding glove and "adjusted" this item till a proper fit was achieved.
Had to replace the stingily applied double sided tape, this time covering the entire back of the emblem.
For the amount paid for this, expected better quality and fit!! For your average person, this would have been a "no-go!! Not for shade tree mechanics!

FineDrive Stay away!!!!

I own a Finedrive 400, but am unable to get any updates for maps or the unit.
The company website was last updated in 2003 and then totally disappeared. Right now, their website displays a single page that leads nowhere!
All email correspondence go's unanswered for the last year and a half!
On another GPS forum, someone stated that Finedrive pulled out of the USA, but still operates in Korea.
Stay away, the mapping software is over 3 years old and there are no updates available and there is NO support!!!
