Mounting challenges

I was very happy with shipment speed, but when I went to install them I found the top mounting stud to be too short. With the rubber grommet and washers installed the stud barely revealed one thread. So to get the nut started I had to resort to altering the metal washer. Now that they’re installed though I’m very happy with the ride it gives my truck.
