Ruger Precision Rifle Reduced Power Spring ~1 - 1.5 lb

I may have received the wrong part?

Received the item quickly and as expected, but I don't believe it is the proper spring for the RPR. The spring length is quite a bit shorter than the factory one, such that it doesn't really make contact as it should. It fell out numerous times during installation, and I don't believe it is actually providing any tension at all to the trigger. The trigger does work, and the pull is lighter, but I'm suspicious of it.
