5 of 5 found this helpful I bought this to use for a armed security company. When I first received the armor it seemed flimbsy and didn't seem think enough to be lvl3a. So I took it for a test on my range. According to the nij standards is what I used to test it. I shot 9mm fmj and hollow points. No pentration. Shot a .45 acp both hollow points and fmj. No pentration. For a total of 15 shots between the 2 calibers. All 15 shots was center mass within a 3 inch grouping.

AR10 gen2 lower
Worked and fit perfect into my 308 gen2 lower receiver. Was made of good quality parts.

Magazine magnet failure
2 of 2 found this helpful So I purchased this to hold my magazine inside my steel gun cabinet. It does have a side of sticky tape. Since it's inside a steel cabinet I can't mount with screws. But it does stick to the door by sticky and magnet. So I put 3 9mm mags, 1 45 mag, and 4 22lr mags. All was unloaded since the magnet is rated for 2 lb or less. At first it looked like it would hold everything perfectly. I was happy. I closed the door. Roughly 5 mins later the whole magnet just falls off.
Thought maybe I didn't let the sticky side seal enough first before placing my mags on it. Reposted it back on the door. No mags. Let it sit over night. Magnet fell off while sleeping. Epic bust. Just going to trash it and find something else to organize my cabinet with. 😒
I don't recommend this if u don't have something to screw it into to hold in place.
