pot puller
Have only used this once so far, but I'm impressed. It is light weight and compact so it's easy to handle. Seems to have plenty of power. Worst thing about it is the manual - or I should say lack of a decent one. The on/off switch, although red and easily identified is not marked and on/off position is not represented on the device or on any instructions that I could find on line or anywhere else.
Also the mounting system is very confusing. there is a removable block that is supposed to provide a swivel feature to pull the arm up while installed. I can't figure out how that works. When installed, you can't do that operation. At least I can't figure out how to.
There should be compatible adapters for other Scotty products. I have downriggers on the boat but I had to fabricate an adaptor to mount the pot puller on the Scotty downrigger becuase I could not find any sort of adapters on the web site.
