Disappointing purchase.
1 of 1 found this helpful As i recall, this hard cover book, Centennial, by James Michener was described as new. Perhaps it had never been read. The dust cover was a bit worn. But the pages in the book, though clean, were different lengths and widths. and the the edges were rough and a bit soiled. Perhaps the book was a discard due to the varied length and width of the pages. The top of the page edges were dyed green while the bottom edges were manila. I bought Centennial by James Michener to read and to stand with my other Michener hardback books. Cosmetically, it was a disappointing purchase. I paid a higher price for it because it was "new." Apparently it was a discard because of the flaws in its production.
