Direct replacement for existing equipment
I chose this engine because it was a direct replacement for an existing setup (Troy Bilt Chipper) that I have. Briggs had cheaper engines but either the Crank wasn't going to be the correct size/diameter or it was going to be to high or to low to fit into the impeller assembly. Anyhow, the motor does start on the first pull now, and seems to work as intended. The engine was delivered on time and without any damage.

Love it. Wish I would have gotten one of these years ago.
I've been using this device for several weeks now. I ride a Harley Davidson Switchback, and lately, because of the heat, I've been riding without the windshield. Anyhow, this unit works wonderfully within my Arai RX-Q helmet. People tell me they have no problem hearing me even when I'm talking at 70 mph. I've never had any problem with it syncing with my phone and I've been able to listen to music and get navigation directions simultaneously. The speakers are plenty loud and I've been able to use the device playing music, get navigational directions, and phone calls for 4 hours without any problem. I'm sure the device would last longer than 4 hours as it usually takes no time to recharge. Its just that's all my daily commute lasts.
The bad. If you can call it that. There are a lot of sequences to remember. You have the jog dial button, the phone button, and the ambient mode button. Each of them have there own functions, but they all come with either a once press or two press. Some features work with a single tap of a button, others require holding the button for 2 seconds, etc. Just a lot of different things to remember. But I guess its better to have the choices than not.
The ambient mode button is hard to hit with gloves on.
I havent had an opportunity to try out the intercom features at this time, since none of my riding buddies have a communication device.
