Good remix

I collect Sarah Brightman remixes and this is a good remix of song from her Harem album. This is classical crossover....Puccini aria from Madam Butterfly with pop song intermixed. The dance version is a bit repetitve and has that European beat to it. haven't listened to the other song yet I'll have to watch for these dance compilation for remixes which are hard to find.

Fun and Uplifting

I wasn't aware of this movie until reading it on Judi Dench's filmography. Sorry I missed this when it came out 10 years ago. But now I have watched and thoroughly enjoyed Mrs Henderson Presents. For the most part this is a upbeat movie with upbeat characters who have some very funny lines in some very funny scenes. There is of course tragedy related to the fact that this movie depicts London during the "blitz" of World War II. But in the long run it's the story of a woman who loves life and who is able to manipulate the establishment to bring the joy of life to citizens and soldiers dealing with the fears and dangers of war. The bonus on the Mrs Henderson Presents dvd is director Stephen Frears very entertaining comments on the production of the movie. You shouldn't miss this.

Judi Dench is outstanding but it's a downer

I didn't like the heavy air hanging over the entire story which leads you to believe that the sympathetic character (Dench's) is doomed. It certainly kept me involved in the story. You can definitely appreciate (even at an early age) Judi Dench's talent and acting foundation. So glad Amazon is making Dench's early work available. She has such a huge resume of fabulous award winning acting performances with the Royal Shakespeare Company, West End productions, BBC, and other London productions. It would be wonderful if Amazon would track down and make available more her of performances that may have been recorded.
