2 of 2 found this helpful The only thing I dislike is that you have to hold the remote just inches away from the player in order to start playing. After that, it works from farther away just fine, including pause, and then play.
I bought two of these, and both players do this, and both remotes do this.
It's not a big problem, not a deal breaker. It's a fine dvd player, otherwise.
