Was the material before the exploitation Albums
1 of 1 found this helpful Really these tracks are mostly out takes and "rolling tape". Though , the songs are in formation to be : what will be on later albums . A few are jam sessions. But all are worth it !
Jimi and friends were finishing - up 1968's album : Electric ladyland ,and the '60s , in general, before they were over . And some of what will be on "midnight lightning " "Crash Landing" etc. -the 1970s sound / change to a more sophisticated, new effects and recording processes.
If you-, like her and him (me) , dig Jimi's music , this album (CD) has a versatile line up , with that Hendrix style,sound, AND now progressive playing, writing , incorporating new interesting work, then, I strongly sponsor a go at this one (album) . Its been out a while , and The Hendrix Family will probably..never..allow those early to mid 70s ( which made a lot of people happy , and some unrelenting lawyers a ton of money for a decade and 1/2. Its really worth owning.

Before enormous FAME and the attitudes that come with it .....
synchronicity stuck me before I looked on ebay for this very interesting look, into a place(s) and that time... "65 -the year- had been just popping -up in my mind for at least 4 months prior. A year of a different world , perceptions, , and a lot more soulful innocence . Very cool Music artists (ie; Ottis Redding ) etc. etc. , even the fuzz pedals , and yet right along with it vey musical songs of all kinds were there , pop music, and even the rise Herb Albert , in The USA.
The biggest notes I can put to this film , are :The Rolling Stones , being young , yet early adulthood. How well they interacted with each other . The fun and friendship of not being soo jaded (?!?) ..far from it . Yet they were THE band up Now ! And they were happy, sharing ,...talented. Oh ! The way things were in Briton, then (even though this is about The Rolling Stones going to Ireland). This is a sweet time piece. The Irish people- old and young- were, adoring and adored "The Stones" . Though it might seem ugly and high- violent today, wasn't that in Briton and Ireland back then . Reference the one stage scene were, a couple of Irish Boys storm the stage , blaming the band , for stealing their girlfriends hearts and such as much . Nobody had a nervous breakdown or shooting cops ! It was over quick , and this was a well known event(?) that occurred in both countries , in different venues, and both sides did well , it was over this.."draw". Let ME SAY THIS : that anyone interested in music and personalities should see/own this DVD. It's a better world /time in some elementary ways . But stay away from my comments and....... see this !!!

Much is already comming home to roost, now. One man can't be to blame. But this film does show trueisms that show it can and will..happen!
One of the last interviews with SEN. Edward Kennedy , he said his strongest regret or only REAL regret , was not accepting/ turning down the proposed health care bill , in '67 (?) .
Truth is , in America, most governments , from you're condominium "clan", on up to The Federal -USA - are or already are BROKE !!! And, Dinesh d'souza addresses this. And only the beginning of failures . The US government was in trouble , long before
Okay , the film, is needed to be watched 2-3 times separately. And for the prices its going for worth it. He does explain President Barack Obama's ideas, and ideals , the previous influences, mentors , and experiences
