Mardock Scramble review
This Revenge story was very engaging however it is more dark than I expected. It is even more dark in the director's cuts. It deals with subject-matters they're not for the faint hearted. If anyone has ever seen the director's cut of Kite, you'll know what I'm talking about.
What makes this story more unique than other revenge stories, is that this is also a story about Redemption. No matter how far you fall, there's always a path for you to come back up.
The only complaint I have with the story is during the last half of the second movie and the first 10 mins of the third movie. The style of the movie shifts, and it makes the story and grind to a halt. It is only a small gripe, because the rest of the story finishes off very strong.
