Best purchase i've made
4 of 4 found this helpful I spent a lot of time looking for a great watch to put on my wrist. I had typically not worn watches, primarily because they never appealed to me or my sense of fashion. I chose the Invicta 6981 Black and Gold specifically because it looked large and classy. I wasn't going for an over-the-top look, but this watch looks perfectly scaled on my relatively large wrists. The black plastic and metal with the gold accents, some brushed, some shiny, always draw my eyes to it. The face itself is clean and easy to read, but intricate enough to hold your gaze, if you are into the finer details like I am.
The watch is simple to set, it's mechanical so you never need to wind it or change batteries. It's features are easy to use, like the stop watch and setting the time and date. The alarm is a bit more intricate, but following the directions that come with it should get you through the process. The warranty is fair and the extended one is all encompassing.
Overall - I give this watch a 9/10, mostly because I got it on sale, 75% off. The retail price is a bit much, but you will be sure to get attention for wearing it as well as a fantastically built watch.
