Easy to Install but take precautions.
You don't need to be an electrician or plumber to wire this onto your hot water tank, but take note that you must insure that this thermostat clips firmly against the metal wall of the tank or you risk false readings and possibly burn up your home. If the clip is faulty, get a new tank. If you are replacing a pre-existing thermostat you should be careful to wire it in like the old one was wired (make a diagram to be sure). Make sure you use proper gauge wire. I wired in a thermostat with thinner wire once because it was easier to work with, and one wire broke and shorted out. That short melted the protective cover and I was lucky to discover it before it could start a fire.

Exact Duplicate
The one that came with my TV conked out. No I do not want a universal remote that I am not familiar with. I wanted to replace the old one with a new unused duplicate. This is it Perfectly happy with all aspects of this including the ebay transaction.
