Excellent product!!! Solid Quality Construction. Going to buy a few more.
I bought this to control the speed of my orbital sander. When sanding small pieces of wood the speed was to fast. Now I can fine tune the speed.
I even tried it on my table saw. Which makes a big bang when the motor kicks in. I set the speed controler at medium and run the piece of wood much slower thru the blade. If I need a little more power. I dial it up a little. I noticed that the cut of the blade was much smoother, than when it is run at full speed.
I tried it on a 120 volt transfer pump that I use to drain the above ground pool. When this pump runs at full speed it makes a lot of noise and gets really hot. The speed controller allowed me to throttle it back to keep the noise and temp of the motor to a minimum.
I'm going to try it on my shop vac. If I can still get good suction with half the noise it would be great. I'm going to buy a few more for some of my other power tools.
