can't smell the perfume

The fragrance is weak. The sample from the magazine was wonderful and lasted hours. I can't even smell this 2 seconds after I spray it on my arm. So I bought the cream thinking that would help make it stronger. The cream is just as bad so I know it was not the perfume was bad or old. So disappointed. Both the sample and the bottle say Eau de Parfum so I am confused as to why it is so weak. No complaints on ebay vendor or the shipping, it is just the perfume was a disappointment.
