The Warriors DVD (1955) - Errol Flynn, Joanne Dru, Peter Finch, Henry Levin
    Dec 29, 2021
It's okay, but could have been more accurate to the times. The prince was an authentic hero.
I have been researching The Black Prince, as played by Errol Flynn and found their faces resembled one another. The movie got the clothes right, but in the end, I think it was just another Hollywood western, where the good guys wear armor this time.
Roman Lives: A Selection of Eight Lives by Plutarch (Paperback) BRAND NEW CXX
    Jun 22, 2016
    Interesting Romans
If you are tired of slogging through ancient tales of men and women who truly relate, why not take up Plutarch's Lives with the most colorful of all - the reckless Romans of the civil wars. In this book, you get the real goods on Mark Antony, Julius Caesar and Cleopatra - key historical figures that are far more engaging than any of the big movies made up about them.
KEN FOLLETT'S WORLD WITHOUT END (DVD)
    Oct 27, 2021
It seems a bit irrelevant to the story. World without end conveys the sense of a worthwhile, eternal place. This one does not.,
I needed to know what ordinary people of the 14th Century looked like and this did not disappoint, It was accurate also in hos it depicted the Church as holding the most power. And it was more believable, in that it had plain people alongside more heroic and dramatic characters.
