Works!
1 of 1 found this helpful This little gadget works well. It is better than letting the pop go completely flat. However, if you are expecting 100% fizz after a day, I don't think that can happen with any pop saver, but this one does a good job of making it the best possible.

Not the best phone, but accepatble

I downgraded from Samsung to a cheaper BLU phone only because I was nto sure that I was going to stay with my phone service much longer and if I switch in the not-too-distant future, then I did not want to lay out a large sum of money for a useless phone. This phone is does the job well enough to fill the gap. I needed to replace a broken Samsung phone and Fry's Electronics sells BLU phones, so I talked with the salesman, handled one in the store, and felt reasonably safe in purchasing it. There are a few pros, but more cons, which is why I really do not care for this phone and will replace it as soon is I've gotten my use out of it.
Pros: This model has a bright screen, a fast CPU, and does not lag in videos, unless your carrier is weak. It is well built, light weight, and the 8MP camera is outstanding for both video and pics. The ringtones included are voluminous and the ability to change setup and personalizing it works well. the speaker and mic works well, maybe better than the phone I replaced, but it was a few years old. Anyway, people have no problem hearing and understanding me and vice versa.
Cons: The program interface is bad. For example, you can't directly go to other phone functions from another page. Instead, you have to swipe backwards over and over to get where you started in order to get to where you want to go.
The typing video keypad for texting or writing is very bad. I am constantly getting the wrong letters showing even with the larger screen than my former Samsung phone, and it is not due to my fingers being fat or anything, it is just an inferior product compared to Samsung. The choice of spelling suggestions is really bad compared to Samsung. They give you offbeat, weird suggestions for what should be an obvious and common typing error on a video keypad. Samsung always got it right, but the BLU phone needs improvements in this field.
The vibration is not as strong as Samsung. I have to silence my phone often for meetings, but I never feel it vibrate in the same pocket of my shirts that I had with my Samsung. There is no indicator that you have a missed call waiting until you swipe the phone to turn it on, where Samsung had a blinking light indicator. That means that if it is late in the evening, you may not know that you missed anything until the next day, since you are used to a blinking light telling you. That has happened several times to me until I made it a habit to check my phone throughout the day to see if I missed something. Annoying.
These are a few of my problems. I don't use all of the features that others do, so there may be other problems between this and other phones that I am unaware of.

Good, but be careful, not Gorilla Glass and mine cracked in 1 month.
2 of 3 found this helpful If you had asked me yesterday, I would have written a different review, that is, before it fell out of my shirt pocket with only about a 3-foot drop to the ground (soft dirt with some small stones), yet hitting a stone at that distance was enough to crack my glass. I can't believe it. I have never had a phone with a cracked glass since 1995! And, for such a short fall!
When I bought this Luna, I asked if it was Gorilla glass and the salesman said No. I almost did not buy it, but I liked the sleek design. Over the last month, it has been a superb phone until yesterday's crack. The camera is outstanding and does great photos. The phone has two antennas and gets a more clear signal where I used to have weaker signals (T-Mobile service). The speaker phone is twice as good as my former Samsung. I can lay it on my lap while driving and still hear and be heard clearly. Luna went to all of the trouble to make a really good crack proof aluminum case, but they put cheap glass on the front that cracks easier than any phone I have had since 1995. For that reason, I would not recommend this to phone to anyone unless they have a full wrap around protection wallet.
