Tip: buy the 3rd edition and get the free 3.5 supplement from D&D website
With all the different editions of D&D, the third edition monster manual is still very user friendly. Wizards offers a free supplement to upgrade the manual to 3.5. No need to spend a fortune on the 3.5 or 4th edition of this title!!
