Cheap ink
Seems as good as overpriced HP ink.

Sony DVDirect
1 of 1 found this helpful We have a considerable library of movies on VHS that we wish to preserve. Also, we need to reclaim the space. After reading 2 reviews in Smart Computing magazine, the Sony seemed a good option. I have a computer with video editing capability, but found recording DVDs too time consuming. With the DVDirect, my wife can transfer the vidoes with little or no interaction. So far, this item seems to fill the bill. One limitation, however, is that editing while recording is more cumbersome than it would be on a computer. All in all, we are very satisfied.

Time Machine
Woody Allen's nostalgic visit to his childhood in the '40's. Good characterization of the members of his extended family. Topical music and news brings the audience back to the era.
