Hard to read content. If violence in a family setting upsets you, you shouldn’t pick up this book.
I think if I where in a different time in my life, I may be able to sit down and get threw this book. Now isn’t the time for me. It’s not the length or the amount of pages... it’s just a little intense with the discriptions of child abuses/ neglect. My new mommy brain can’t handle. This book has given me nightmares and I’m only 11 chapters in.
I hope to power threw and hopefully get to a time in Wavy’s life where she isn’t in harms way... but I’m not sure I’ll make it there any time soon.
